PURE-AIR vs Brand FC:Read the Spec Sheet Like an Engineer.
Both brands ship factory-direct laser fume extractors. The differences live in the filtration stack, the blower physics and the filter economics. Here is the line-by-line comparison — sourced from both companies' published spec sheets — so you can decide on data, not marketing.
"Brand FC" refers to a leading US desktop laser fume extractor brand. Competitor specifications and prices cite its public product pages (July 2026) and are subject to change. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners; PURE-AIR is not affiliated with the competitor.
H14
vs their H13
99.99% capture at 0.3 µm across our entire range — one full HEPA class above the desktop competition's 99.97%.
10,000 Pa
negative pressure
Competitors publish open-flow CFM measured with clean filters. Our high-static blowers keep suction strong as filters load.
90–257 V
multi-voltage
One machine runs on 110 V US circuits and 220-240 V worldwide — no region-locked SKUs, no transformer.
40-50%
lower filter cost/yr
Modular stages mean you replace only what's spent. The F9 pre-stage shields the H14 so it lasts far longer.
Head-to-Head: 10 Dimensions That Decide Performance
Desktop platform vs desktop platform. Green check = PURE-AIR leads on published specs; red = competitor leads; scale = comparable.

Open-Flow CFM Is Measured with Clean Filters. Your Filters Won't Stay Clean.
Every extractor advertises airflow. But airflow ratings are taken with brand-new filters and no duct attached. What keeps smoke moving through a half-loaded HEPA stack and two meters of hose is negative pressure, measured in Pascals. PURE-AIR publishes static pressure on every model — from 2,500 Pa on the entry F200s to 10,000 Pa on the FS500 — because that is the number that predicts how your extractor performs in month three, not minute three.

What this means in practice
- Capture velocity at the laser stays high even as the F9 and H14 stages load with debris.
- Long duct runs and tight adapter fittings don't starve the airflow.
- Filters get used to full capacity instead of being replaced early because "suction died".
- One machine handles 110 V and 220-240 V mains (90–110 V / 210–257 V input), anywhere on earth.
